Logs kiln dried - Hardwood
kiln dried in bulk. The hardwood is sustainably sourced and comprises a mixture of hardwood species, including Ash, Oak and Beech.
Logs - Hardwood
Seasoned hardwood is sustainably sourced and recycled and collected from tree jobs. This comprises a mixture of hardwood species, including Ash, Oak, Beech, Sycamore and Birch.
Logs - Softwood
Seasoned softwood is sustainably sourced and collected and recycled from tree jobs. This comprises a mixture of dry soft woods including Cedar, Larch and Pine.
Stove Budget Mix - 1/2 Metre Cubed of Hardwood + 1/2 Metre Cubed of Softwood (Minimum order of this mix is 1 Metre Cube)
The best of both worlds, start the fire with quick heat from the softwood and maintain the warming glow with the hardwood selection.
Measurements
Metre Cube
We sell our logs in metre cubes rather than in weight...The firewood industry standard is a 'loose' metre cube which will equate to a slightly smaller stacked volume. If you ultimately require a specific stacked volume to fill your log store please discuss your requirements and we will be happy to calculate the additional amount required for you.
For Comparison
You may see measurements described as a "bulk bag" or "builders bag" this is roughly half of a metre cube (loose as pictured above). One loose metre cube on the left compared to a builder's bag or bulk bag loose on the right.
